This class blends two styles of yoga; hatha and yin harmonizing the mind and body. The first half of the class embodies the aspects of a yang practice with a more gentle approach than a typical hot yoga class. Warm up poses to begin and the majority of the class being more stretching style poses with very little strength building poses…a truly “juicy” experience. Next we will allow the body to melt through yin style postures, working through deeply held tension all while practicing inner stillness and proper relaxation techniques through breath work (pranayama) instilling a meditative practice.
Excellent class for all levels and those who want to sweat and get their body moving while experiencing deep relaxation and mindful meditation.
