I have always been passionate about health and fitness– being active, staying fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for both myself and my family. I initially began practicing yoga for its physical benefits, and now I also practice yoga for a deeper sense of calm and a greater awareness of self. Yoga has taught me to be more mindful, more patient, more accepting and more open. I apply the same ideals I learn through my practice to relationships and endeavours in both my personal and professional life. I encourage students to come to their mats with an open heart and open mind. I remind them to honour their body and acknowledge their authentic self. My classes focus on strength, balance, flexibility, stamina, and alignment, allowing students to cultivate an inner awareness that connects mind, body and breath together for maximum benefit.
