For the past 10 years Rachel has dedicated her life to the yoga practice and continuous self improvement. She follows a practice steeped in the traditions of yoga master Krishnamacharya and the yoga traditions of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga. Rachel is a consummate teacher. She’s a lifelong student, passionately committed to improving her well-being in concrete ways, and evolving and imbuing her own teaching with that learning. She completed a Post Secondary Degree in English. Later she worked as a Clinical Coordinator for a Pharmaceutical company. Her path hasn’t always been linear, but each stop in her journey has informed her experience and enriched her. Rachel’s life’s journey and search for inner wisdom lead her to become a Yoga Teacher. She has completed numerous teacher trainings and is a member of the Canadian Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 300+). She believes the yoga practice creates a sacred space in which students can find transformative and life affirming means. Rachel has taught at Hot Yoga Wellness for the last two years, specifically in the Hot Vinyasa flow and Yin Style. As a Yoga Teacher she has taught full-time thousands of classes over the years that include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin/Yang and Prenatal. She is also a facilitator of Teaching Trainings. Her classes offer a thorough, creative practice that is inspiring and elevating to her students. Her passion for the yoga practice is translated in her sequencing and her concise alignment cues that she comprehensively develops to help each student achieve self reflections and discovery after each class. Her mission is to help awaken her student to their highest potential on and off their mat.
