Vinyasa is all about Flow
Guy discovered yoga in 2004 from an Iyengar style instructor that focused on basic asana style poses combined with alignment. He grew to love yoga as he quickly gave up other fitness routines and focused mainly on building a bigger understanding of his yoga practice. After taking a break from his practice for a year, Guy stepped into Hot Yoga Wellness Kennedy studio one day, out of curiosity, and met Phoebe that was also trained as an Iyengar student and an instructor at this studio. Guy signed up for the 30-day trial and quickly fell in love with the heated room and he was given the opportunity to take the teaching training program offered by the studio. After graduating the teacher training program in 2012, Guy immediately started teaching and sharing his knowledge and love for yoga. Beside teaching Foundation Flow, he developed the 75 minute Weight Loss Program that runs Friday nights at 7:00. As a daily yoga practitioner, Guy has also taught Hot Core, Mixed and Foundation Flow with over 2,000 teaching hours to date. Guy’s belief is to develop strength and flexibility by combining other fitness routines such as Pilates, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to the yoga practice to allow students to build greater strength to their practice.
